By the end of third grade, one is supposed to master the times tables to 12. Today you will learn how to master them in your head up to 10,000! With an extra hour or so of practice, you’ll be able to do multiplication problems with numbers into the millions and maybe even the billions. More importantly, you’ll be able to teach others above the 3rd grade how to overcome their math phobias by learning to mentally multiply any two numbers up to 1,000.
This event is open to all gifted youth members and their parents or guardians of American Mensa.
