Region 8 encompasses the 11 Pacific Intermountain Region, which includes Alaska, eastern and western Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, northern Nevada, and northern California.
Gifted Youth Coordinators (GYCs) support a local group’s gifted youth (GY), their families, and other Mensa members with children.
When a local group does not have a designated GYC, the Regional Gifted Youth Coordinator substitutes as the traditional GYC officer in the local group and becomes the GYC on record for that group.
We’ll share more about the regional GYC program, the benefits of a GY membership, and ways to get involved in your local GY program even if you don’t have a GYC. We’ll also be on-hand to answer any questions about Mensa.
This session is open to all parents of gifted youth. Mensa membership not required to join.
