About the Chess Club Leader, Trey Wright
Trey Wright joined San Francisco Regional Mensa when he was 16 as a Gifted Youth where he served as its first GY member-at-large. As GY MAL, he helped to organize a park clean-up and a picnic for Mensa members to enjoy. Now a Young Adult Mensa member, he plans to continue involvement with Mensa by teaching a chess course and leading the local chess club.
A dedicated learner and runner, Trey intends to study mathematics and walk-on to the cross country and track teams at Johns Hopkins University, where he will study next fall. During his free time, Trey enjoys long walks with friends, playing soccer with his brother, and watching movies with his family.
