About the Host, Brandon Kong
Brandon Kong is a high school student excited to serve SFRM as a Gifted Youth Member-at-Large. Born in Singapore, he moved to Pleasanton, California in 3rd grade and continues to reside there. Prior to joining SFRM, Brandon was a member of Mensa Singapore from the age of 7. He hopes to organize fun events for youth Mensans in the Bay Area.
Passionate about cars and aerospace, he aspires to study engineering in college. He also enjoys science and competes on his school’s Science Bowl team. Brandon achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2024 and is keen to continue his service to the community. In his free time, Brandon likes playing racing video games and watching his favorite TV show, Top Gear. He’s also slightly addicted to bubble tea and is determined to try out all the bubble tea shops in the Tri-Valley area.
